One of the best kept secrets in Los Angeles is the joy of the beach, especially at low tide and, better yet, in the winter months. In the off season, the beach is practically empty. To live in a city of millions and only share the beach with a handful of people is always astonishing and breathtaking.

At low tide, you can walk for miles on flat, hard sand. I truly love living in Venice and working in Santa Monica. A walk on the beach a few times a week with my loves is one of the many reasons I love LA.
