5 Things: AI, Adult Friendship, and Taylor Swift
I haven’t done a 5 Things post since February of 2019…the before times! The pandemic, the acquisition of my company, Reaction Commerce, then a remodel, then… Life happens.
Here’s what grabbed my attention this week. I think of these posts as my little Friday at Five link roundup. Enjoy.
- Mark Zuckerberg had a bold plan to replace Meta staff with AI. Here’s how it imploded. I’m so not surprised by this.
- The quiet grief of adult friendship Hat tip to Swiss Miss for surfacing this to me.
- The Icon Sessions with Taylor Swift — Presented by Recording Academy’s Songwriters & Composers Yep, I’m a Swiftie. This interviewer truly knows how to interview, and Taylor knows her shit.
- Derek Sivers’ Books I’ve Read I came across this site again this week, and the books section is part of what inspired me to add a Bookshelf to this site. It’s still coming together, but it makes me happy.
- Tressie McMillan Cottom on the passing of Dolly Parton RIP Dolly. This post from Professor Cottom encapsulates so much of how I feel about losing Dolly.
