Why I recommend it

This belongs in my reading list for people who make things because it connects product craft to how teams are organized and led. The useful shift is from shipping requested features to understanding and solving real customer problems.

Strong product work depends on discovery, judgment, and collaboration across product, design, and engineering. The team needs context and a problem worth solving, not just a list of requirements.

A tension or limitation

The model can feel cleaner on the page than it does inside an organization with legacy systems, constrained authority, or competing incentives. Those constraints are part of the product system too.
