This offers a useful framework for understanding why sincere people reach radically different moral conclusions. It invites curiosity about the intuitions and group loyalties beneath an argument.
What it changed in my thinking
It made me less likely to assume that more facts alone will resolve a values conflict. If I want to understand another person, I have to listen for the moral world in which their position makes sense.

A tension or limitation
Understanding a moral framework is not the same as accepting its consequences. Empathy can improve the conversation without requiring neutrality toward harm.
