Kahneman gives us language for the shortcuts and assumptions behind everyday decisions. It’s a useful challenge to how much we trust our own judgment.

Confidence doesn’t guarantee accuracy. Pausing can help me notice when I’ve answered an easier question than the one in front of me.

Some studies haven’t held up well in later research. The two-system explanation is also a simplification.
