Why I recommend it
I recommend this because it separates decisions from outcomes. Thinking in probabilities creates a more honest way to act when certainty is unavailable and luck will influence the result.
What it changed in my thinking
It reinforced that a good outcome does not prove the choice was wise, and a bad outcome does not prove it was foolish. Learning requires returning to what was knowable at the time.
