Reboot
Why I recommend it
I’m a longtime admirer of Jerry Colonna’s work. This book treats leadership as the work of growing up, asking leaders to examine the fear, ambition, and old stories they bring into every room.
What stayed with me
The practical problem and the personal pattern are often connected. A strategy conversation can also be a conversation about identity, power, or what a leader believes they must prove.
Who it’s useful for
Founders, executives, coaches, and leaders willing to look inward instead of treating every organizational problem as something happening outside themselves.
A tension or limitation
Introspection can reveal the pattern, but it does not replace a hard decision or a change to the system. Leadership needs both inner work and action.
