The Art of Leadership
Why I recommend it
I like this book’s attention to the small, repeated acts that make leadership credible. It is practical about communication, judgment, and the everyday maintenance of a healthy team.
What it changed in my thinking
It reinforced that culture is built in ordinary moments. How a leader runs a meeting, shares context, notices tension, or follows through often matters more than a grand statement of values.
Who it’s useful for
New and experienced managers, especially in technology, who want grounded advice they can carry into the next conversation.
A tension or limitation
Short essays make the ideas approachable, but they do not add up to one universal system. Readers still have to decide which practices fit their people and context.
